Faculty Positions in Mathematics at Trinity UniversityTenure Track: Assistant ProfessorThe Department of Mathematics at Trinity University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Statistics or a closely related field. Outstanding applicants will exhibit a dedication to undergraduate teaching and a high potential for future research. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate statistics and mathematics courses while maintaining an active research program. A Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field is required by the beginning of employment.The department has eight faculty members who are committed to undergraduate teaching and maintain an active research program. Our goal is to engage our students in creative work in mathematics and its applications in other disciplines, as well as to educate them about the diversity of career paths available to them. Requirements include a PhD in the mathematical sciences, a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, and the potential for a productive research program in an area of applied mathematics.
