Trinity University Math Modeling Group Homepage

TMMG is an organization for preparing students to competently model real world phenomena.  Our members include physicists, engineers, computer scientists, economists, and chemists in addition to the expected math majors.

The focal point of our year is the Mathematical Contest in Modeling, held during a weekend in the early spring semester.  Contestants will form groups of three and choose one of two problems to work on for the weekend.  The submissions will be judged either Successful Participant, Honorable Mention, or Meritorious.  In the past, Trinity University has done well in the competition, having had two teams ranking Meritorious.
